Scaling up Targeted Community Based HIV Testing Services and Linkage to Treatment in Lesotho (CID-LINK) Project under the President's Emergency Plan for AIDS Relief (PEPFAR): The purpose of this funding opportunity announcement (FOA) is to provide quality Community Based HIV Testing & Counselling (CBHTC) services in the five PEPFAR scale up districts (Maseru, Berea, Leribe, Mafeteng & Mohale’s Hoek) of Lesotho using targeted community-based approaches to identify HIV-positive individuals and link them to treatment services. Identification of HIV infected individuals is critical to the achievement of the UNAIDS 90/90/90 acceleration strategy as it is the first 90 in the epidemic control. The Community HTC partner will work as the PEPFAR lead for Community HTC, referral and linkages to treatment; scale-up quality HIV testing in priority districts and populations such as men, adolescent girls & young women, factory workers, and key populations (men who have sex with men and female sex workers). The partner will participate in different multi stakeholder forum and leverage all relevant platforms for reaching PLHIV with unknown HIV status and link them to treatment. The partner will also provide technical assistance to the MOH to strengthen the national HTC program to ensure provision of high quality HTC services in the country that ensure HIV+ clients are linked to care and treatment.
