Strengthening HIV and Co-infection Prevention Activities in Central Asian Republics of Kazakhstan, Kyrgyz Republic, Tajikistan, Turkmenistan, and Uzbekistan Under the Presidents Emergency Plan for AIDS Relief (PEPFAR): The purpose of this program is to provide technical assistance to governments of Central Asian Republics of Kazakhstan, Kyrgyz Republic, Tajikistan, Turkmenistan, and Uzbekistan and civil society to implement comprehensive packages of HIV prevention services targeting most at-risk (MARPs) populations and other vulnerable persons (to be identified where appropriate). Persons to be targeted may include, but are not limited to: sex workers (SWs); men who have sex with men (MSM); Injecting Drug Users (IDUs), and other vulnerable populations that may be identified, i.e. street youths etc. Applicants are encouraged to submit a work-plan for as many countries as possible; however, the final determination of country assignment and activity will be determined at the time of the award.
