Strengthening National Capacity for Integrated HIV/AIDS Health Data Collection, Use, and Dissemination in Support of an Evidence-based Response in South Sudan under the President's Emergency Plan for AIDS Relief: South Sudan achieved independence in July 2011 and descended into conflict in 2013. The country’s HIV/AIDS response is largely donor funded. CDC funded the project “Strengthening Systems, Capacity, and Data Collection with Focus on Strategic Information” from September 30, 2012 to March 31, 2017.
