Synthesis and communication of results from the evaluation of a pelagic organism decline (POD) in the upper San Francisco Estuary: USFWS intends to award UC Davis - John Muir Institute of the Environment (UCD) with a single source cooperative agreement. The Stockton Office of the U.S. Fish and Wildlife Service (USFWS), will provide $434,973.00 to the UC Davis - John Muir Institute of the Environment, through the University of California. UC Davis and Erica Fleishman will oversee this work and 1) work with project partners to complete the ongoing work of three working groups; 2) coordinate with the Delta Science Program to continue communicating results to a broader audience, including stakeholders and policy makers; 3) complete ongoing work of a final synthetic working group; 4) participate in completion of a final synthesis report and a non-technical overview. The anticipated period of performance is from January 1, 2012 to December 31, 2016.
