To Conduct a 100th Meridian Boater Survey in California's Sacramento/San Joaquin Delta: Funding is available through the U.S. Fish and Wildlife Service Aquatic Nuisance Species (ANS) Program to support a 100th Meridian survey of recreational boaters who transport boats into, out of and throughout California's Sacramento/San Joaquin Delta. The intent of the boater survey will be to determine the demographic breakdown, origin, destination, and ANS awareness levels (particularly of zebra mussels) of recreational boaters. Boats will be voluntarily inspected for the presence of target ANS. Survey protocols must be developed in coordination with the Stockton Fish and Wildlife Office ANS Program and the 100th Meridian Initiative. Can email inquiries to [email protected]
