Archaeological Collections Curation & Management (CESU): This agreement continues and enhances a long-term cooperative relationship between the Bureau of Land Management and the University of Wyoming, Department of Anthropology, Archaeological Repository (UWAR). It provides for the cost sharing relationship to complete museum property inventories relative to the Code of Federal Regulations, Curation of Federally-Owned and Administered Archeological Collections (36 CFR Part 79) and for the annual curation of federally owned archaeological collections, collection records and other museum property.The principle purpose of this project is to provide UWAR and BLM with a detailed inventory of BLM artifacts and collections currently housed at UWAR. UWAR has acted as a repository for archaeological materials in Wyoming since before 1970.
