Assistance With Hawk Hill Trail Rehabilitation: The GGNRA has asked the Conservancy to assist the park in support of a project that is of mutual interest or for which there is collaboration between GGNRA and the Conservancy and which will benefit the public. The GGNRA and the Conservancy are partners in a multi-year initiative of trail enhancements in the GGNRA and are mutually interested in and have determined it necessary to cooperate in a collaborative effort in managing and supporting a project and providing revegetation, restoration, and other site protection activities to rehabilitate the trail at Hawk Hill. Mutual and cooperative involvement will include personnel from NPS and GGNPC collaborating on the activities described below, participating together as members of a joint project management team to achieve the project management, revegetation, restoration, and other site protection activities in support of the project including project coordination, stewardship, archeological monitoring, natural resource restoration, community engagement, visitor and resource protection and other activities. GGNRA will establish project goals and objectives. GGNRA staff and the Conservancy staff will each bring expertise to the work of the tasks identified in the agreement, participating together as a project team.
