BLM Oregon/Washington Challenge Cost Share Program 2009 - REANNOUNCEMENT: Recipients for this funding have already been selected. This announcement is being reposted due to changes in BLM financial system. All selected project cooperators are asked to reapply. The principle purpose of the Challenge Cost Share (CCS) program is to promote cost-share partnerships with non-federal entities for the purpose of public land management of important resources such as cultural, fisheries, recreation, wildlife, special status plants, and native plant communities. Non-federal partners may include state agencies, Tribes, local governments, non-governmental organizations, private companies, and private individuals. The objective of the Oregon/Washinton CCS program is to have a cost effective, local-level cost share program with non-federal partners to implement conservation or other public land management projects for the good of the general public and public resources.
