BLM UT Cedar City Field Office Landscape Conservation Forecasting: The Utah Bureau of Land Management Cedar City Field Office has acquired one time funding to provide for Landscape Conservation Forecasting vegetative monitoring study. Landscape Conservation Forecasting would consist of three components including Maps, Measures and Models to identify specific on the ground management of treatment actions to improve the ecological condition of major vegetation types within the CCFO.The process will identify a variety of management actions vegetation treatment methods that will provide a high return on investment for each vegetation type. These management actions would be utilized to achieve an improved Desired Plant Community for each ecological site in consideration of costs/budgets.
