Carrizo Plain National Monument Vegetation Mapping and Vegatation Plots to Monitor Climate Change: Collect vegetation data, analyze it to produce a vegetation classification and report, and then produce a fine-scale vegetation map of the Carrizo National Monument. The California Native Plant Society has previously collected field data on parts of the Carrizo Plain NM and on adjacent Fish and Game lands on their own initiative through their Vegetation Program, and in collaboration with CDFG VegCAMP.
