Colorado Plateau Native Plant Evaluation, Development, and Demonstration Project: This project will result in the establishment of a native plant community restoration demonstration site within two years of the projects initiation. In addition, upon the availability of future funds, this project will support graduate programs at the MS and PhD levels. All demonstration and graduate programs will focus on priority native plant species that have been identified by the Colorado Plateau Native Plant Program for restoration needs within the Colorado Plateau. All demonstration and graduate programs will aid in the development of a better understanding of the ecology and management of native plant materials for the restoration of ecosystems in the Colorado Plateau.
