Connecting Latino and African American Males to Sexual Health Services: An Adaptation of Project Connect: The goal of this new FOA is to complete the work of PS12-1212, which was to adapt the Project Connect health systems intervention to better target adolescent males, particularly African American and Latino males in urban areas.
By identifying providers who are meeting the sexual and reproductive health care needs of young men and creating a guide and a system for connecting young men to those providers, this FOA will result in increased access to and use of care by young men, increased identification and treatment of new STD cases, and increased identification and referral of new HIV cases.
