FY 2007 Instrumentation Program for Tribal Colleges and Universities (TCUs): This is a set-aside for Tribal Colleges and Universities. The DoD announces the availability of the FY 2007 Broad Agency Announcement (BAA) for the Instrumentation Program for Tribal Colleges and Universities (TCUs). This program aims to enhance science, mathematics, and/or engineering education programs and/or research capabilities through the acquisition of equipment and/or instrumentation that will augment existing facilities, enhance curricula, or develop new laboratories, programs and capabilities in areas related to science, mathematics, and/or engineering. Eligible applicants are only those institutions identified on the Roster of Tribal Colleges prepared by the American Indian High Education Consortium (AIHEC). The list is available at http://www.aihec.org/tribal_college_roster.cfml. Only one proposal per institution will be accepted. DoD funds will be awarded via grants through the Army Research Office (ARO) based on this announcement. The BAA will contain additional information along with instructions for proposal preparation and submission. Proposals must be received at the ARO no later than 4:00 p.m. Eastern Daylight Time (EDT) on June 14, 2007.
