Nevada Watershed Inventories: The Bureau of Reclamation (Reclamation) intends to issue a sole source Grant Agreement to the State of Nevada, under the authority of CFDA 15.508, Public Law 107-171, Section 2507, Farm Security and rural Investment Act of 2002 (Farm Bill) enacted May 13, 2002 , Public Law 108-7, Section 207(b), Omnibus Appropriations Bill, February 20, 2003, Public Law 110-161, Section 208, (a)(6) the Consolidated Appropriations Act, 2008. The purpose of this agreement is to provide funding, as directed by Public Law 110-161 Sec. 208(a)(6), to the State of Nevada to prepare watershed inventories, with a particular focus on the Walker and Carson River basins. Implementation of the proposed operating agreement will not directly benefit Reclamation or the federal government. Period of performance is from the date of award to June 30, 2014. A Determination by the Government not to compete this proposed financial assistance based upon Departmental Manual 505 DM 2, paragraph 2.14(B)(4) is solely within the discretion of the Government. This notice of intent is NOT a request for competitive proposals. Central Contractor Registration (CCR) applies to this announcement.
