Planning Assistance for Rancho Corral de Tierra: The objective of this Task Agreement is to collaborate with the Golden Gate National Parks Conservancy (GGNPC) on various planning projects at Rancho Corral de Tierra (Rancho). This assistance will further the conceptual plans of two new trailheads, facilitate public outreach, define the program for the ¿Diverse Opportunities Zone¿ per the General Management Plan (GMP) including equestrian operations, and develop a trail master plan for the property. In addition, visitor facility elements identified in the GMP will be considered. The assistance may also include coordination with NPS Natural Resource division on a resources plan for Rancho. Rancho is located in San Mateo County and was acquired by the National Park Service in 2011. Since its acquisition, park management and operations of existing trails and facilities have focused on routine maintenance, and therefore, these amenities require a plan to guide future improvements.
