Recovery Act Buffalo Skedaddle Landscape Mgt and Restoration Initiative Dodge Units 1 and 7: Improve habitat suitability for sage-grouse by reducing the density of western juniper and improving riparian habitat. The project will also serve to reduce the risk of catastrophic fire within the project area. Units 1 and 7 comprise 530 acres of the 2,277 total project areas. Conservation, restoration, and maintenance of sagebrush habitat for sage-grouse and other sagebrush obligate and associated species.
