Water Conservation Field Services Program - Snake River Area Office: The Bureau of Reclamation, Pacific Northwest Region, Snake River Area Office (Reclamation) is requesting proposals to fund activities in support of its Water Conservation Field Services Program, in Federal fiscal year 2010 (October 1, 2009 to September 30, 2010). To be eligible for financial assistance under this Funding Opportunity, the entity must have water delivery or water management authority and have a defined relationship to one of the Reclamation projects located within the northern Idaho area. The objective of this Funding Opportunity is to invite eligible applicants to leverage their money and resources by cost sharing with Reclamation on activities that will either: 1) Promote the preparation of written water management or conservation plans that will lead to subsequent implementation of conveyance, measurement, or operational improvements which will conserve water, increase water use efficiency, or enhance operational efficiency; or 2) implement activities identified in approved and written water management and/or conservation plans.
