Study of Media Professionals: The Public Affairs Office of the US Embassy in Tirana, Albania, pending on availability of funds, announces a notification of funding opportunity (NOFO) to support the implementation of the project “Study of Media Professionals”. We are seeking for proposals for a research study of Albanian Media Professionals that will conduct a survey of approximately 1,000 media professionals, including field reporters, editors, program hosts, and other media professionals from print, broadcast, and online media outlets in Albania. The survey should be based on face-to-face interviews and focus groups with media professionals. The purpose of the survey is to gather information to better understand Albania's media landscape and the challenges facing the press, including editorial independence, political and business influence on the editorial line of media outlets, job security for media workers. The information collected through questionnaires and focus groups should also include an analysis of the findings.
