Mid Atlantic Diesel Collaborative Port Sector Demonstration Project: The U.S. Environmental Protection Agency (EPA) is accepting proposals to fund marine port demonstration projects within the District of Columbia and the states of Delaware, Maryland, Pennsylvania, Virginia, and West Virginia that will focus on one or more of the following: . data evaluation and emissions inventory refinement; . demonstrate efforts to reduce emissions by effective control technologies and strategies; . promote innovative finance mechanisms to foster drayage truck emissions reductions; . foster the development and use of Environmental Management Systems and/or other sustainability commitments; . promote international sister port relationships through the exchange of emission reduction technologies and strategies.
